Google’s recent announcement that they have completed their new web indexing system Caffeine looks interesting and has obviously come about as a direct result of my post about web search resources last week. I hold my hand up, just over two lines devoted to describing their search engine just wasn’t enough.
Their new faster and smarter web indexing system sounds exciting with the promise of more improvements in the months to come. It wouldn’t surprise me if they are planning to deliver search results before we’ve decided what to search for.
